Prime removes chlorine, chloramines and ammonia. It detoxifies nitrite, nitrate, and any heavy metals found in tap water (at typical concentration levels). It converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is removed during aquarium filtration. For maximum performance, Prime is best used during tank cycling, at first start and during regular water changes. It is non-acidic and will not impact pH. Your fish will benefit through the use of Prime as it promotes the production and regeneration of their natural slime coat. Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water.
