Aquabase is a natural material, which is ideal for setting up a planted aquarium.

It creates an optimal nutritional environment for your tank substrate, and allows aquatic plants to easily adapt to the tank environment when they are initially planted. In addition, aquabase decomposes very gradually which will maintain these ideal conditions in your tank for a long time. The application of Aquabase along with other Ferka products will provide the substrate with the long term nutritional richness that it requires.

Aquabase material is 95-97% natural. It is slightly acidic, between 6.7 - 6.9 pH. Aquabase supports and also stimulates bacterial colonization, which performs an important role in the ecological system of the planted aquarium.
